The wrestling industry is heating up, and that means more and more people
will want to be professional wrestlers, which means more and more people
will want to go to pro wrestling school, and to get those people in the
internet sensations Rhett and link to help them film a local commercial.

Rhett and Link have over 100-million hits on YouTube, and they have been
commissioned and awarded for their viral videos and ad campaigns. IFC

Based on the sneak peek clips on www.IFC.com, the show looks like a lot of
fun, as it highlights one of the most unique wrestling schools in the
country. Featured in the episode will be Make Me A Pro owner GQ Money, The
Hobo, Lizzy Valentine, Donnie Shallow, Hanes Classic, Rocky Romero and many
other students from the school.

> I am back from the Smackdown taping in Hershey, PA. As always, I was sitting in Section H1, Row 4, Seat 1 (on the entrance ramp). I was to the left of the wrestlers as they came to the ring. And, as always, I was cheering every heel and booing every face. I was wearing my Christian / Anti-Orton shirt, which had the phrase “Just Say No To RKO” written on the back.
>
> I had no interest in NXT or Superstars, so I stayed out in the concession part of the arena during that time. I tried to buy another Christian shirt, but they were all sold out. In fact, that was the ONLY shirt that was sold out. There were a lot of random Christian fans throughout the arena with “Still A Peep” signs, but overall, I thought he received a rather heelish reaction.
>
> At the beginning of Smackdown, I made my way down to my seat. One quarter of the arena was tarped off. Booker T got a huge ovation as he came down the ramp. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews followed.
>
> To begin the show, Teddy Long called out Christian and talked to him about the shady finish of his match with Randy Orton at Capitol Punishment. Christian demanded another title match because he got screwed. Teddy Long told Christian that he would have to EARN another title match. And that opportunity would come later tonight against… Kane!
>
> In the first match of the night, Sin Cara beat Ted Dibiase, Jr. A cameraman actually had to point to where Sin Cara was supposed to be looking at the end of the match. Wow…
>
> Next, Cody Rhodes beat Daniel Bryan. The “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes was used as part of Daniel Bryan’s pre-match promo. I caught Booker T & Michael Cole joking around with a paper bag during the match. Ted Dibiase, Jr. came out mid-way through the match to be in Cody’s corner. At this point, I thought Cody received the biggest heat of the night, until… (more on that later)…
>
> Next, Mark Henry attacked Big Show in a backstage segment.
>
> Then Big Zeke beat Wade Barrett clean in a rematch for the Intercontinental Title. Afterwards, Gabriel & Slater were making fun of Wade backstage.
>
> Gabriel & Slater come out and beat the Uso’s.
>
> Yoshi Tatsu was beaten up in the ring by Jinder Mahal & The Great Khali. Mahal cut a promo, which I believe earned him the biggest heat of the night (surpassing even that of Cody Rhodes earlier). Much like Sin Cara, a cameraman actually had to point to where Mahal was supposed to be looking after his promo.
>
> Christian & Kane were having a pretty good match with A LOT of near falls. At the end, Mark Henry ran out to attack Kane, causing a DQ and a very upset Christian. Teddy Long came out and said that Christian had just lost the match (implying that he would not receive another title shot), but then Teddy said that Christian had a chance to “redeem” himself in a tag match. Christian/Henry vs. Kane/Orton. If Christian’s team wins, he earns another title shot.
>
> The tag match went on for awhile, before it ended with a Mark Henry pin on Randy Orton, allowing Christian’s team to win, and therefore give Christian one more title opportunity (presumably at Money in the Bank). The show ended with Christian standing in the ring, holding the title, on top of a fallen Randy Orton. And the crowd was really booing him.
>
> This is where the show went off the air, because all of the cameramen & ring crew began dispersing. The commentators must have taken a back exit through the crowd, because none of them came up the ramp.
>
> For the live crowd at the arena, Teddy Long came back out and danced. Then he told us that Christian would be receiving a title rematch NOW… in a street fight! The match didn’t last long, and it really wasn’t much of a street fight, but of course, Randy Orton won after he hit three RKO’s… one on Christian, one on an interfering Mark Henry… and one on an interfering Sheamus. (Sheamus did not appear on the televised portion of the show.) It was truly Super Orton (no exaggeration)!
>
> I can’t describe how over Randy Orton was, especially at the end of the night. The cheers from the crowd were absolutely deafening. He paraded around the ringside area, very slowly, for about 10 minutes, celebrating with the fans and slapping their hands.
>
> Now comes the part that is very difficult for me to describe in words. You had to be there to see it… and believe it! It was one of the most surreal experiences that I have ever had…
>
> When Randy Orton reached me on the entrance ramp, he began to slap hands with the people right next to me. During this time, I was doing everything I could to express my hatred of him. I gave him a double thumbs-down, and was screaming “You suck” at him endlessly. Randy could have brushed me off. He could have easily ignored me. But instead, he was highly amused and decided to “play” with me. Here is how it went down…
>
> At first, he gave me a look as if to say “Oh, another one of these hater fans…” He smiled like John Cena would do, and I think he was expecting me to stop, and that would be it. Instead, I kept screaming at him relentlessly (understand that he was right in front of me) and he began to grow increasingly more amused. He waved his hand in a downward motion as if to signal me to tone it down. He made direct eye contact with me several times for a period of 1-2 minutes (although it felt longer). He studied me down completely, to the point where he could easily tell a police department every feature of me if he was asked to give a description. The entire time, he was smiling/smirking and visibly amused.
>
> I thought it was over. He went to the other side of the entrance ramp, presumably to slap hands with the people over there. But instead of doing so, he turned back around and stared at me again. I had momentarily stopped doing anything because I had thought that he was done with me, but now the surrounding fans were telling me: “Hey, there’s your chance. It’s just you and him. He’s looking at you. Do something!”
>
> So I gave him the double thumbs-down again. At this point, he never stopped making eye contact with me. I got tired of saying “You suck” so I screamed at him “You’re garbage!” I’m not sure why the word “garbage” would have set him off, but for a brief moment, he turned his head upward, and looked like he does when he’s about to punt somebody.
>
> I was fully expecting him to come over to me and get in my face, or perhaps just brush me off at this point. But he did neither. Instead, his response was to “taunt” me with his belt. He held it up and showed it proudly to me, all the time smiling and smirking, as if to mock me for telling him that he sucks when he is, in fact, the champion.
>
> That was it. But I can’t believe that Randy took the time to “play” with me like that. He could have completely ignored me, but instead he had fun with me. I have never grabbed a wrestler’s attention like that for such a seemingly long period of time. There were people around me who I think would have liked that amount of attention, but it was me who stood out to Randy Orton over everyone else who was there.
>
> I had a great time at the Smackdown taping in Hershey. But ironically, it was the person who I hate the most (Randy Orton) who made my night.
>
> I still hate the character Randy Orton, but somehow, someway, I think that Randall Keith Orton has just earned my respect.
>
> Eric J. Calcara

By Rich Mancuso

On Monday Night RAW three weeks ago R-Truth confronted a father and son at ringside in Omaha Nebraska, fans of John Cena. One thing leads to another and Truth is calling the father “Big Jimmy” and his son “Little Jimmy.” The pro wrestling storyline would continue with Cena, Truth, and of course the name “Little Jimmy” when Truth lost to Cena in their WWE Championship match Sunday evening as the main event at “Capitol Punishment.”

So who is “Jimmy” and will be we him again? “I am not counting anything out,” says 33-year old Kelcivious Jones an accomplished actor of film and stage from Omaha. “I loved working the whole experience. They are like a machine, the writers, the producers, the talent.” In other words Jones is now a part of the WWE Universe of fans, unless of course he gets another call to continue a story line with Truth.

He is sitting at home one night and got the call from his agent. WWE was going to be in town for the RAW program and they needed the fan angle. Jones would bring along his 8-year old nephew who happened to be a Cena fan and had his action figure. First they asked if he had a son because they needed to start this with “Little Jimmy.”

Hours before the live telecast, Jones and his nephew arrived at the Qwest Arena, one of the rare times WWE appears there. They meet Rey Mysterio. Said Jones, “Rey said, ‘Are you the guys, hey thanks for doing this,’” and then the production meeting with Triple H, Vince McMahon and the WWE machine of superstars.

R-Truth shook his hand, so did Cena. They rehearsed the storyline twice. And then it was time for the show. Those not in the know assume this is a father and son taking in a night of WWE entertainment wearing John Cena shirts and caps. But, if you know, the ringside setup was different. Separate rows and chairs away from the crowd indicate that this father and son were going to be a part of the show

I’d like to pursue it,” admitted Jones about appearing as a storyline subject at a future WWE event. The perfect scenario would be “Jimmy” and “Little Jimmy” assisting Cena in a future match with Truth. At least that’s what you expect from WWE storylines. The plan is to have the Cena-Truth angle continuing to the SummerSlam WWE pay-per-view in August.

But, as seen Sunday evening, there was another “Little Jimmy” at ringside who threw a cup of water that splashed Truth and caused a distraction, hence Cena got the win and remained WWE champion. It wasn’t Jones and his nephew assisting Cena, which would have been the more appropriate angle, then, again, we have come to expect this from consistency of WWE storylines

Jones, who attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, has an extensive resume. He is the voice of Rodger in “Dino Squad” and of Aztec in “Horseland” two popular television cartoons. He has appeared on stage as Gabriel in the drama “Fences” and numerous roles in film including “The Experiment”, “Up in the Air”, “For Love of Amy”, and “April Showers.”

Perhaps a recurring role once in a while with WWE in the future, Jones does not know where this angle will go. For the moment he continues to work on his acting career and there are no plans to become the next WWE superstar. “I watched the week after,” he said to see how the “Little Jimmy” angle would transpire. If anything, Jones is now a fan of WWE and knows more about how the industry works.

“I watch to study them,” he says about the WWE superstars. “How they react to the ring, going into the ring. I’m always a student.” And it does take time and plenty of initiative to become a part of a WWE program or storyline. Jones realizes how difficult it is to get reaction from the crowd and how much dedication goes into the WWE product.

The Jimmy angle will probably continue until the Cena and Truth run concludes. Jones may not be a part of it, but to many, as he says now, his nickname is now “Big Jimmy.”

Arda Ocal & Jimmy Korderas of R.A.W. Radio on theScore on SIRIUS 158 recently spoke with 8 time NWA Champion Harley Race. Highlights:

His thoughts on the King of the Ring being more prestigious than the WWE championship at the time he won it
“I was their (the WWE’s) first ever King of the Ring, which to me was a step above being the WWE Champion. I had already been an 8-time NWA heavyweight champion before and the next step up for me was the King of the Ring. At that point in time, the NWA champion was recognized totally around the World – by all the promotions around the World – and not one promotion that dictates to around the World.”

Harley’s thoughts on Ric Flair – and if he knew he would become a true legend in the sport
“I knew Ric would be something. Anyone that knew Flair back then, knew he had the talent to go absolutely all the way – and he has. Ric had the ability in the ring and he damn sure had the ability to talk and do all that stuff on television. At that time, he was one of the few people who could replace me, because I had similar abilities.”

Being considered one of the legitimate tough-guys in the locker-room

His training Academy and some of his past students including CM Punk, Michael McGillicutty, Chris

His famous “Harley Race Barbeques” in Kansas City

Slamming Andre the Giant before Hulk Hogan did at WrestleMania 3
“I can send you pictures of me slamming Andre the Giant and I had him fully above my head – Hogan got him about chest high. (Hogan claimed to get hurt after performing the famous slam) I didn’t. I got him in the position and brought his head full through all in the same motion. It’s when those pauses comes in and that weight is allowed to come straight on you, that you get hurt.”

FORMER XPW OWNER RELEASES NEW PORNO PARODIES, Starring Former Girlfriend Of Former WWE Star Chatsworth, CA
Www.extremecomixxx.com

It’s been a lot of years since XPW has been a relevant name in the wrestling industry, and for the most part that is due to the company’s demise many years ago after its owner Rob Black was indicted by the Federal Government on charges of distributing obscene material through the US Postal System.

Rob Black is back, and this time his movies aren’t of the extreme nature they used to be, they are in fact, “the kind of porno you don’t have to be ashamed of owning.”

The current rage in the industry is parody films and super heroes, and Rob Black’s new “Sinister X” persona hopes to become the leading director of this genre.

Sinister X and his distribution platform Extreme Comixxx have recently released Justice League of Porn Star Heroes XXX : An Extreme Comixxx parody, a well as Supergirl XXX : An Extreme Comixxx parody. JLA-XXX climbed to the top of the adult charts, holding the #-1 spot for multiple weeks in a row.

Extreme Comixxx’s parent company Exquisite Films has also released Rezervoir Doggz and Saturday night Fever. Quentin Tarantino’s lawyers originally sent a cease and desist letter about Rezervoir Doggz, until viewing the film and allowing it to be made.

A name starring in both of these movies is Andy San Dimas, former girlfriend to former WWE Superstar Paul London. San Dimas has become a regular for the company, appearing in most of their parody titles.

“These movies are fun, hot and sexy. I mean special FX, a fun story, they’re shot well, this is a new Rob Black,” says visual FX artist Plixar whom works in the pro wrestling industry under a different alias.

Office safe trailers can be viewed on the websites, where the movies can also be purchased:

The producers of the highly-anticipated wrestling documentary, THE CIRCUS: Live Free, Die Young, have announced the film’s DVD release date – September 10, 2011.

To mark this announcement, the producers of THE CIRCUS have released a special video excerpt from the documentary – in memory of Macho Man Randy Savage. In the video, the Honky Tonk Man pays tribute to the late Macho Man Randy Savage as only he can:

THE CIRCUS examines the growing epidemic of young deaths in pro wrestling (over 100 deaths in the last 10 years). For the first time ever, this subject is tackled on a global level by its best-known personalities, as wrestlers speak openly about an out-of-control lifestyle involving drug and steroid abuse.
