Jerome’s thought’s on the December 1st ECW
Published December 2nd, 2009 in Columns
I will continue to say again that ECW at least for me has become the wrestling show to watch. I actually kind of found the Abraham Washington Show entertaining until Zack Ryder started jumping on the couch. Overall not a bad show. The Regal, Kozlov and Jackson storyline continues to peak my interest. The young talent are hungry to make names for themselves and the older talent are doing a good job of putting over some of the new talent. I am intrigued by how the TLC PPV is shaping up on paper. Because I am cheap, I usually only order maybe one or two PPV’s a year. I am really considering ordering the TLC PPV (It has been several years since I have ordered a WWE PPV). But enough of that, this week I want to focus on the impressive tag team of Trent Barrera and Caylon Croft. These two young talent have been in WWE’s developmental company Florida Championship Wrestling. Yes, they beat up a bunch of locals, but I recall that is what the old WWF Superstars show was about until the main event – showcasing the main talent to show their strengths and show what they can do in the ring. The in ring moves of both Barrera and Caylon remind me of a young Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane. Yes, the Midnight Express. If the WWE takes these two seriously, they could indeed be a tag team of the future.
