Angle’s Attorney makes comment & Backstage news from Hard Justice
Published August 17th, 2009 in Headlines
In an interview on WPXI.com on Sunday August 16th, Kurt Angle’s attorney defended his client. Angle’s Attorney Michael Santicola claims there was no corroborating evidence to prove Rhaka Khan needed a protection order from abuse and said there was no way Angle could have known she was at Starbucks where he was accused of violating an order for protection.
Santicola stated that Angle has a prescription for the HGH which was found inside his vehicle. “I have spoken with his agent, it is under prescription, multiple people use it in his industry and it is not illegal.” The attorney noted that Angle will be out of town this week (at the TNA television tapings) and that the preliminary hearing scheduled for this Tuesday August 18th will likely be delayed.
Various sources are reporting that TNA Wrestling officially addressed Kurt Angle’s arrest to the Associated Press by actually declining to comment. The following people were backstage at the TNA Hard Justice pay-per-view last night: “Wildcat” Chris Harris, Kevin Thorn, Larry Zbyszko, Kevin Nash’s son Tristan (which was his first time seeing his father perform in person), and Jay Lethal’s parents.
