Edge could return at Royal Rumble PPV

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on

In a new report by both the Wrestling Observer and Wrestleview, the latest update on Edge is that he could be returning at the Royal Rumble PPV on January 31 orshortly afterwards (possibly on RAW even though he is still part of the SmackDown roster).  Several months ago there was hope he would be ready in time for WrestleMania, but it appears right now that his Achilles injury is healing up faster than originally expected.  According to reports Edge is expected to begin a feud with Chris Jericho to play off the angle that went in place where Jericho replaced him with Big Show as his tag team partner/WWE Unified Tag Team Champion.
