Force One Commissioner “Ironman” Tommy Cairo wasted no time after signing WWE star Stevie Richards to the roster.
Richards has been moved into immediate title contention, as he will challenge Danny Doring for the prestigious Force One Heavyweight title on February 28th at Force One’s “Crossing The Line” Show at Barnegat High School, in Barnegat, NJ.
Cairo said the following when asked about moving Richards into title contention: “Stevie Richards is an old friend, going back to my time in ECW. More important, his skills alone should place him into title contention. Obviously the WWE has had confidence in Richards for many years, and there is no doubt that Danny Doring needs to take this title threat seriously.
Several wrestlers, most notably Danny Gimondo, have commented on being moved out of title contention to accomodate the very popular Stevie Richards.
Cairo’s only other announcement concerning this show was about the return match between Trixie Lynn, and former WCW womens star, Little Jeanne.
Tickets for “Crossing The Line” are $12, and are available by calling 732-604-9927, or can be purchased on the night of the show. For more info go to http://forceoneprowrestling.com
