Jeff Hardy bids farewell to World Wrestling Entertainment

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on

On this past WWE Friday Night Smackdown, Jeff Hardy lost a “Loser Leaves Town” Steel Cage match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk.

Sources are reporting that Hardy was told by WWE management he has an invitation to come back whenever he wants and the company would help him promote his outside projects.

Reports indicate that Hardy plans to do more musical performances with his band Peroxwhy?gen and work on a possible reality show. Hardy did tell WWE officials that he wasn’t leaving because he was unhappy, but rather he wants time off from the WWE travel schedule. Most in the WWE expect Hardy to make a return in the future. Hardy was also praised for his work ethic until he finished through his contract, as well as helping bring CM Punk up to a new level within the company.
