Wrestlingdotcom sources have been informed that Jarrett is getting back into the wrestling business. Jarrett helped run the Memphis territory for decades and was one of the original founders of TNA Wrestling with his son Jeff, has teamed up with the Reno Riggin’s Showtime All-Star Wrestling promotion. The company has been running events in the Tennessee area. Jarrett has reportedly been working on some kind of syndicated TV deal for the company. Reports are indicating that a pilot HD TV taping is already planned for October 10th at the Nashville Fairgrounds (formerly known as the TNA Asylum). Talent already working for the company include former TNA wrestlers such as Kid Kash, Chase Stevens, Andy Douglas, and Cassidy Riley.
Bryan Danielson, who agreed to a contract with the WWE, began his farewell tour on the independent scene this past Friday in Reseda, CA for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Danielson wrestled former WWE star Brian Kendrick. Reports coming out is that after the match Danielson told the audience he wished he could wrestle on the independent scene for the rest of his life, but his “future medical bills” meant that he needed to take the contract offer from the WWE.
