Jerry Lawler misses mayor candidate forum to call RAW

It is being reported by in Memphis that WWE color commentator announcer Jerry “The King” Lawler missed an important Candidates Forum in the Memphis mayoral race on Monday night to call Monday Night RAW in Toronto. The forum was held at Middle Baptist Church in an area where “voter turnout is often high.” Lawler missed a key chance to appeal to an area where a strong percentage of eligible voters will most-likely vote in the Mayor special election next month. One of the key topics was how to reduce crime, which has been the main talking point for Lawler during his mayoral campaign. Lawler’s name was mentioned in the report on who was missing from the forum.
