Lucha Mini Stars Murdered
Published July 2nd, 2009 in Headlines
PWInsider.com is reporting that two Lucha mini wrestlers, Alberto & Alejandro Jimenez known as the original La Parkita & Espectrito II were found dead on Monday in their room at Hotel Moderna, just blocks away from Arena Coliseo after being drugged & robbed by two female prostitutes.
Mexican officials said that the men were found unharmed with all of their personal belongings gone. The Mexican officials also stated the hotel clerk indicated the two wrestlers checked in at 6:00 AM on Monday and that two women left some 12 hours later without the two men. The bodies were sent to a forensic specialist where autopsies will be conducted to determine the actual cause of death. According to Enrique Humberto Pliego who is a prosecutor in Cuauhtemoc, the initial belief is that the two women put something in the two wrestlers drinks which killed them.
The mini wrestlers were each 35-years-old and wrestling professionally in Mexico for about 18 years, working all around the country for different promotions with their older brother being the original Espectrito. La Parkita was released from prison last year for credit card fraud and was working various shows in Mexico in addition to some work some work in the United States for Chikara.
