According to a report from PWInsider Brian Kendrick’s release from the WWE was due to his attitude backstage and poor motivation as a performer. The feeling internally is Kendrick did what he was told, but had a negative attitude and gave the impression to management he did not really care about being in the company. Other sources per the PWInsider also indicate that Kendrick was constantly fined for using marijuana, though it is not clear if that had to do with his release.
WrestleBoard.com indicates that Shawn Daivari (a/k/a Sheik Abdul Bashir) has posted a blog on his official website, www.ShawnDaivari.com, addressing his contract status with TNA. Various reports indicated that Daivair signed a three-year deal with the company, but according to him, that is not correct. He is only signed with TNA for the next year. Daivari wrote the following: “Onto business matters, as it has been reported around the internet that I had signed with TNA they weren’t 100% true,” “We were in a renegotiating process when that was reported. And I can be the first to tell you as of this week a new contract has been put into effect. So I will be a part of TNA at minimum for the next year, but maybe longer.”
