WWE’s next pay perview WWE Backlash will take place April 27th, 2008 from Baltimore, Maryland. Within a few days of Wrestlemania it was already announced that Undertaker will give Edge a rematch and ditto for Kane with Chavo Guerrero.  A week later on Monday Night Raw it was announced the JBL would get a title shot against Randy Orton in the main event.  Triple H then won a handicap match to get into the match, as did John Cena an hour later.  So the main event has now been set; a fatal four way for the WWE Championship.

The following matches have been confirmed for WWE Backlash:

- WWE Championship - Randy Orton (c) vs. John “Bradshaw” Layfield vs. Triple H vs. John Cena

- WWE Heavyweight Championship – The Undertaker (c) vs. Edge

- US Championship Match:  MVP vs. Matt Hardy

- ECW Championnship - Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero.

Big Show vs. The Great Khali
