Police say why Hardy’s home was searched

In a story posted in the, Moore County police officials said they searched the home of Jeff Hardy after being tipped off just a few days ago.. Chief deputy Neil Godfry said the subsequent investigation led to a search warrant. As we reported on September 11th, following the search of Hardy’s home, he was arrested and charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. In a side note, FOX Sports also picked up the story and referred to Hardy as a former “WWE and TNT” wrestler, which someone obviously does not know much about TNA.
