It is being reported from various media sources that following Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, the Undertaker was “extremely upset and yelling” about an incident that took place during ring entrance. There was a pyrotechnic malfunction during Undertaker’s ring entrance that caused his jacket to catch on fire and his chest to suffer some minor burns. Undertaker quickly removed the jacket and made his way to the ring–where he poured water all over the affected area–but the damage had already been done.
Undertaker worked his match, but Undertaker reportedly expressed his anger backstage. He was calmed down by management. An arena correspondent said that Undertaker also yelled something at the tech crew on his way backstage, which has not been confirmed at this point.
It is also being reported that WWE could use this and turn it into a storyline which would have Shawn Michaels being the caused of the malfunction. Also during the replay of the RAW chamber as the lights were dark in the arena, it has been said that Shawn Michaels was escorted to the ring surrounded by referee officials so he could get under the ring without the live crowd seeing him.
