Raw/ECW Merger Pushed Back Until 2009?, WWE Suspension, The Rock

![]() – Devin Cutting sent in the following… WWE returns to the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, December 26th, 2008 at 7:30 PM. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 8th, 2008 at 10 AM. The WWE website has it listed as a Smackdown/ECW house show, so it appears that WWE’s plan to run Raw/ECW events has been pushed back again until 2009. – William Regal’s 60-day suspension for his second violation of WWE’s Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy concludes tonight. Technically, he’s eligible to appear at tomorrow night’s multi-brand house show event at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.
– In its fourth week in, The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment tops this week’s Video Sales - Recreational Sports DVD chart on Billboard.com. It beat out the One Night Stand DVD in its first week out.
