Reason Scott Hall did not wrestle at TNA PPV

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on

According to serveral sources, the original plan was for Scott Hall to wrestle as the tag team partner for Kevin Nash at the TNA Genesis pay-per-view last night.  Hall, according to what we have heard said he had a groin injury as the reason he could not wrestle.  Sources are reporting that he was walking just fine backstage after the January 5 television taping and the real reason he (Hall) may have been embarassed by his physical appearance after he put on a pair of tights since it has been a long time since he last wrestled.

Jason Powell at reported that TNA was srambling at the last minute because Sean Waltman did not have wrestling gear either, but of course TNA fixed that.  If Waltman was unable to wrestle, TNA had Eric Young on standby.
