Rob Van Dam appears on MSNBC in favor of Marijuana & Update on Ric Flair and the WWE

WrestlingInc.com is reporting that former WWE & ECW Champion, Rob Van Dam was on the July 8th edition of MSNBC’s Morning Meeting show to debate the legalization of Marijuana. Van Dam was opposed by former national drug policy advisor and U.S. Army General, Barry McCaffrey. Van Dam argued that the use of marijuana should be legal, taxed and regulated by the federal government, similar to how alcohol is handled. He also said that legalizing marijuana would bring billions of dollars to the U.S. economy. Van Dam also criticized the government’s anti-marijuana policy to be all lies. ProWrestling.Net is indicating they have confirmed reports that the Ric Flair has not re-signed with WWE. The report is that multiple sources were under the impression that he was very close to signing a couple weeks ago, but Flair and the WWE were unable to work out a deal. The big issues continues to be the WWE wants exclusivity to Flair’s services, while Flair wants to work independently. WWE officials has made it clear to Flair they have no intention of using him as a wrestler.
