The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the match finishes of Sting vs. Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley at Sunday’s TNA Victory Road PPV in Orlando were not booked to end the same exact. Sting was still booked to lose to Samoa Joe, by pin fall after a Muscle Buster. According to the report, Sting allegedly forgot the finish of the match. During the match, Joe attempted to get Sting up on the top turnbuckle to setup the Muscle Buster, but Sting dead weighted him. After two attempts Joe called an out and audible, and then put Sting in the rear naked choke and called for him to tap out.
WrestleView.com is reporting that Kurt Angle’s groin pull happened on the set of his latest film. There have been conflicting reports on whether this was on the set for the MMA film “Warrior” or another film he is currently working on. Angle worked through the injury at TNA’s Victory Road PPV this past Sunday in Orlando.
The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter reports that Matt Hardy had surgery on his torn abdominal muscle on July 2 and is expected to be out of action for at least the next two months or longer
