In an interesting note, the most recent DirecTV.com advertisement for WWE pay-per-views lists Sting as one of the wrestlers who wrestles for the company. The header says “Enter the world known as WWE,” followed by the ad reading, “Here’s your ringside seat. DIRECTV Pay Per View delivers the force, fury and finishing moves of superstars like Triple H, Batista, Matt Hardy,
The Big Show, Randy Orton, and Sting. Catch the best of the up-and-coming contenders.” It looks as if someone made a typing mistake or doesn’t known wrestling very well.
It appears that Hulk Hogan is using TNA as a way to get himself back in the WWE. Hulk Hogan appeared on the “Bubba the Love Sponge” radio Thursday and spoke on Kurt Angle’s current problems. Hogan and Bubba called Angle, and Angle suggested that Hogan put the red, white and blue back on and they could have a feud together in TNA. Hogan responded by saying he could definitely make that happen. Then Bubba tried to call TNA President Dixie Carter, but no one answered the phone. It should also be noted that both Hogan and Bubba were both drinking as they did the show, so they could have been slightly intoxicated.
