– The Great Khali recently completed shooting in an upcoming Bollywood movie, and it features a dance number from him. Director Rajeev Kumar told IBNLive.com, “He is also a very gentle human being.” Pony Verma, the film’s choreographer, added, “I used to feel scared to tell him that you need to do this step or that step. He would give me a look and say I will try. However, I think he’s done a great job.”

– The Brisbane Times has an article with ECW Diva Kelly Kelly, which you can read at this link. She explained how she joined WWE in the first place. “WWE contacted me through my modeling agency and they knew I had an athletic background so they sent me down to Atlanta, Georgia where they kicked my butt for a week straight and asked me if I wanted a job at the end of it,” Kelly said. She also added, “Even on my off days now I’m still training, so I try to get into the ring and learn different stuff.” Kelly looks forward to a long career in WWE. “I plan to be here as long as I can,” she said.

– Friday’s Smackdown drew 2.4 fast national rating, reports the Wrestling Observer. It falls in line with what the show has been averaging as of late. On the otherhand, Hulk Hogan’s American Gladiators drew an awful rating for the replay of the two-hour season premiere. Friday’s replay drew an anemic 1.7 rating, finishing in last place for the night.

– There is a story on a 6-year-old boy who lost a leg in a mower accident last Sunday. The boy is a big wrestling fan and WWE sent him a bunch of stuff including toys and signed memorabilia. You can read the article at this link
