The Rock named Diabetes spokesman, ROH exploring new video service & ECW Rating

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on is reporting that Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) has been named as the new national ambassador for the Diabetes Aware campaign. In a new public service announcement, Johnson urges families, “Get outside. Play a game. Do something active together. We can make a difference in our own families through exercise, eating right and teaching healthy behaviors to our children.”

Sources are reporting that Ring of Honor is said to be looking at opening a Video on Demand service similar to what is offered by the WWE with their website and Hula and TNA with ROH was reportedly in talks of doing one through DirecTV, but opted to no go forward with it.

The Neilson Ratings for the August 11th episode of ECW on SyFy indicate the show did a 1.14 (1.1) cable rating.
