Update on Hardy Injury, Reason for WWE Unified Tag Title change & WWE Diva told to lose weight
Published July 1st, 2009 in Headlines
The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting a follow up story regarding Matt Hardy suffering a torn abdominal muscle. The report states his injury will require surgery and keep him out of action for an extended period of time. Hardy originally refused to take off time following a broken hand at the April 26 Backlash pay-per view, and chose to work on a week to week basis. Hardy kept quiet about his injury and did not say anything about it.
The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting that one of the main deciding factors for the WWE putting the Unified Tag Team Titles on Edge and Chris Jericho is because Edge is pretty banged up at this point. By doing tag matches, this will allow him to do a little less in ring work, but still could put him in the ring more often since the Unified Title are scheduled to make appearances on all three WWE brands.
