According to reports from our sources, the 30 day suspension of Rey Mysterio from World Wrestling Entertainment could cost him up to $100,000. The amount is calculated by Mysterio missing both the Breaking Point Pay-Per View and the October 4th Hell in a Cell Pay-Per View, along with four weeks of house shows. Mysterio will not be receiving his downside guarantee and will not be able to collect the regular pay that he would make from appearing at house shows and pay-per views. However, during his suspension, he still will be collecting revenue from merchandise sales. Reports and other media sources believe that Mysterio’s earning are around $1.5 million.
Wrestlingdotcom has learned from media sources that Lauren Williams (Angelina Love) was suppose to have her work VISA issues before she could sign her contract that she signed back in 2007 following her appearance on at the Bound For Glory Pay-Per View. It appears that TNA Management/Officials ignored or carelessly overlooked Williams Work VISA. Sources are reporting that Williams was actually working without a VISA for the last two years, which TNA could face serious legal problems should the Federal Government get involved. A possible punishment could be that Williams would be deported back to Canada and banned from entering the United States for ten years and could even be forced to pay pack all money she earned by working for TNA due to being considered an illegal immigrant in the working in the United States. Our sources say that when TNA President Dixie Carter was told by her legal staff the problems TNA could have by employing an illegal immigrant, Carter made the decision to terminate Williams TNA contract. Wrestlingdotcom will continue to follow this story and bring you the latest news as we receive it.
