In regard to past reports and talk about TNA looking at a name change after Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan came in,  The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting  when Frank Dickerson was first brought into the companyhe also wanted to drop the TNA name.  Aa decision was made back in 2005 when they debuted on SPIKE TV to keep the name since it was already established in the wrestling industry. It has been said that Vince Russo originally came up with the final name of TNA when the company wanted to be as risque as possible.  Also, Dixie Carter is said to be very loyal to the TNA brand name.
