Update on Ole Anderson & Time Warner could pull SmackDown affiliates

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on

In an update from an earlier report, there are now various wrestling media sources reporting that Ole Anderson was released from the hospital on the morning of December 27th as Anderson had been in the hospital for a week with an infection in his legs. It appears that the problems which was treated with antibiotics was able to fix the problem.

The New York Daily News is reporting serious issues are going on between Time Warner Cable and FOX. According to the report, FOX wants Time Warner to pay $1 per month per customer to get Fox’s network of stations including FOX, FX and MyNetworkTV (which airs WWE Friday Night Smackdown). Time Warner Cable is refusing and now threatening to pull all the stations off the air by January 1, meaning SmackDown would no longer be airing for those who subscribe to Time Warner Cable, only leaving the option of subscribing to Directv or DISH.
