Update on Sting, Jim Cornette & TNA IMPACT Rating

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on

Our sources are reporting that Sting still has not made a final decision about his future with TNA Wrestling past October. We also have sources reporting that Sting is expected to continue working past October and there is discussion within the company of having Sting work a retirement tour that would keep him with TNA until the spring of 2010.

For TNA employee Jim Cornette’s new Ring of Honor Role with “Executive Producer” for the TV product on HDNet. Cornette will work in the production side of the company similar to what his role was with TNA. Adam Pearce will still remain as head booker with input from Cornette. This is similar to what Cornette did in TNA before the company released him.

The Neilson ratings for the 9/24 edition of TNA IMPACT indicated the show did a 1.0 cable rating.
