– Conspicuous by their absence last night on RAW were the Bella Twins as they did not appear on the show for the first time in several weeks. The twin duo missed last night’s show in Minneapolis in order to help designers involved with the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition reality show tear a house down tonight in South Carolina. In addition to the Bellas, SmackDown stars Big Show and R-Truth are tagging along as well. Hence, both grapplers will miss tonight’s SmackDown/ECW taping in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The family being spotlighted are big WWE fans, hence the sports entertainment company’s involvement with the program. When asked why he decided to be involved with Extreme Makeover, Big Show responded with the following: “A chance to make an influence, a positive influence, for a family like this is great. You have to be a cold hearted person not to have tears in your eyes. Truly amazing to give something like this to the family.” The Bellas noted their involvement with the program on their Twitter account this evening, writing: “Away doing something special Twitterworld… We’ll be back in a few days Peace Love & Twins! B&N”

–Mediaweek is reporting tht USA Network is back on top of the primetime cable ratings heap, led by Raw which was the most-watched program on ad-supported cable. The January 4 show pulled in 5.61 million total viewers.

– The WWE website has posted new studio photos of Eve Torres. The WWE Diva said today on her Twitter account that she will be training the rest of the week in Tampa.
