PWTorch.com Newsletter is reporting that WWE Vice-President of Talent Relations John “Johnny Ace” Laurinaitis is said to have a of heat from talent. His position in the company is notorious for being a heat magnet. The general feeling of numerous wrestlers is that he’s not being honest with them. One wrestler insists he and Laurinaitis agreed to a specific merchandise percentage during contract negotiations, yet when the official WWE contract showed a lower percent. Laurinaitis reportedly would not make changes, even after assuring the wrestler that if he signed the contact, the merchandise percentage numbers would be revised. The wrestler shared their frustration with friends and coworkers. A number of other WWE talent are claiming to have had similar contract negotiation issues.
Another issue with Johnny Ace is how conducts himself with talent being released. He’s popular for informing wrestlers that he cuts, the reason the decision was made is because creative doesn’t have anything for him or her. However, one former WWE creative team member stated that creative isn’t given any warning 99% of the time when a wrestler is about to be let go from the company. When Laurinaitis was confronted about this, he told people that his predecessor Jim Ross told him this is a standard protocol within the WWE. This irritated people way because it gives the impression Laurinatis is trying to blame Ross for this business practice.
