Attitude Era videos used to slander Linda McMahon’s U.S. Senate Campaign

By : WrestlingDotCom News Posted on

The Hartford Courant (www.courant.com) reported late Friday that three YouTube videos featuring past racy WWE storylines from the attitude era were removed by You Tube due to copyright complaints by World Wrestling Entertainment. The videos were used by the Democratic Party in Connecticut to slander Linda McMahon in order to damage her Senatorial bid for the State of Connecticut.

The videos included the controversial Katie Vick storyline where Triple H humped a “dead” mannequin while mocking Kane, a “simulated rape” between Scott Steiner and Stephanie McMahon, and the infamous “live sex celebration” between Edge and Lita. According to the article, You Tube removed the videos due to copyright complaints at the request of the WWE.
