- According to sources that the current plan for the WWE Network is to debut in the first quarter of next year. One source told me that the date right now is February 24, which would be the day after The Elimination Chamber and would have it in place leading up to WrestleMania. I have not been able to second source that date but can tell you that I have been told that people are working under the assumption that it will start in the first quarter of 2014.
- Goldust will be down at the Performance Center next Thursday and Friday to work with the young talent.
- Former NFL star turned WWE announcer turned former Raw General Manager Mike Adamle will be appearing at the next Legends of the Ring convention in June 2014 in Monroe, NJ. It will be his first wrestling-related appearance since leaving WWE in 2008. For more information, visit www.legendsofthering.com.
As always with wrestling, there’s a crazy twist to the story. Adamle was booked for the convention by former TNA and WWE office employee Brian Wittenstein, who was in the center of TNA’s lawsuit against WWE for, according to TNA, providing WWE with TNA contract information. That suit was later dropped.
